Welcome

Welcome to the Coyote Measurement documentation. These guides explain how to use the platform for terminal operations — from importing bay files and managing truck loads to reconciling producer tickets and running reports.

What Coyote Measurement does

Coyote Measurement helps terminal operators track facility transactions (loads at your bays), match them against external transactions (producer and third-party tickets), and reconcile volumes across the production day.

At a high level, most teams follow this path:

  1. Set up organizations, users, and facilities.
  2. Import terminal files for each production day.
  3. Review transactions and match external tickets.
  4. Reconcile differences and use reports and settlements for accounting.

How the docs are organized

The sidebar groups guides by workflow:

  • Getting Started — orientation and account basics
  • Organizations & Users — tenants, roles, and access
  • Managing Imports — upload, review, and approve import sessions
  • Transactions & External Transactions — facility loads and producer ticket matching
  • Loads & Bays — bay configuration and viewing loads
  • Reports & Ledgers — operational and financial reporting
  • Reconciliation — comparing terminal and producer data
  • Settlements & Invoicing — billing workflows
  • Integrations — LoadCall, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, webhooks, and more

Each section includes step-by-step instructions, permissions, and links to related topics.

Before you begin

Most operational tasks require the correct organization and facility selected in the app header. If lists look empty or you cannot upload files, confirm your active context first — see Navigating the App.
