Navigating the App

Most work in Coyote Measurement happens inside a specific organization and facility (terminal). The app header shows which ones you are working in and lets you switch between them.

Active organization and active facility

TermWhat it means
Active organizationThe organization currently selected in the app header. Lists, settings, and users are scoped to this organization.
Active facilityThe terminal currently selected in the app header. Imports, transactions, bays, and most daily operations are scoped to this facility.

These are session context choices — which org and facility you are viewing right now. They are separate from account status (for example, an organization whose account status is Active vs Suspended).

Where to find them

  1. Look at the top bar (app header) after you log in.
  2. Use the organization selector to choose which organization you are working in.
  3. Use the facility selector to choose which terminal within that organization you are working in.

The header shows your active organization (for example, Coyote Development) and active facility (for example, Alpha Terminal).

If you only belong to one organization or one facility, the app may pre-select them automatically.

What they control

When you change the active organization or facility, the data on most sidebar pages updates to match:

AreaScoped by
Imports, Transactions, External Transactions, Loads, BaysActive facility
Organization settings and usersActive organization

Always confirm the correct organization and facility are selected before uploading files, approving imports, or editing transactions.

Available options

The header selectors only list the organizations and facilities available to your account.

If an organization or facility is missing from the dropdown, ask your administrator to grant access.

Typical workflow

  1. Log in to Coyote Measurement.
  2. Select your organization in the header (if more than one is available).
  3. Select your facility in the header (if more than one is available).
  4. Open the sidebar section you need — Imports, Transactions, Loads, and so on.
  5. Switch organization or facility in the header whenever you move to a different organization or terminal.
